By registering on the FPIC website, you join a community of learners from across Canada. FPIC’s ambition is to help stimulate and support social and technological innovation with and for Aboriginal people living in cities and communities. The FPIC therefore aims to foster professional development within Aboriginal communities, and to be a gathering place for partners… The FPIC promotes pedagogical innovation, based on the sharing of knowledge, experience and expertise, regardless of the geographical location of its users.

Any user wishing to access FPIC must therefore have first consulted this User Charter as well as the General Conditions of Use and the Privacy Policy, which describe the conditions under which FPIC provides access to its services.

By registering with FPIC, the user is deemed to have accepted, without restriction or reservation, the General Conditions of Use, the Users’ Charter and the Privacy Policy.

Recommendations to users (for training courses with digital badges)

Users are encouraged to :

  • Fill in their user profile in the appropriate section.
  • Explore freely all training activities: videos, readings, links and other elements.
  • Adopt a reflective approach when exploring the topics proposed, mainly in terms of their impact on their own practice and on student motivation.
  • Discuss freely with other learners the general concepts and resources presented in collaborative discussion spaces and in social media.
  • Share user-generated/implemented activities (from Architect level upwards, in particular) and possibly propose documents/artifacts developed with other learners.
  • Use the CIPP learner portfolio space to your professional advantage, to highlight your achievements.

User commitments

In addition to the rules of conduct specified in the General Conditions of Use, the user undertakes to:

  • Submit relevant information in support of a digital badge application.
  • Respect the intellectual property rights granted by the user license attached to each badge, as well as those associated with the external content offered in the training courses.
  • Give FPIC managers access to personal data collected on the platform for follow-up purposes.
