Onaki Pathway Badges

Description
This badge recognizes that the participant has successfully completed the Onaki program offered by the First Peoples Innovation Center.
This program enabled him to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to use digital fabrication technologies in a FabLab, with the goal of designing prototypes and solutions. He is able to use them independently and safely.
Here is the list of technical skills:

He took part in cultural workshops to raise awareness of Canada’s different native cultures.
He took part in employability workshops to give him the tools he needs to enter the job market.

Obtaining criteria
The learner has :
- actively participated in theoretical and practical activities during six months of training (720 hours including four months at the ONAKI FabLab and two months in a professional environment);
- reached the “Knowledge” level in the different technologies and software taught;
- realized and presented a project with a minimum of 2 different technologies;
completed the 8 weeks of internship activity; - actively participated in the cultural workshops offered during the training program;
actively participated in the professional workshops offered during the training program.
